I-SACs must be stored in a clean, dry environment, protected from direct sunlight and UV exposure.

  • Indoor Storage (Preferred): Store in a covered, enclosed space, away from moisture, heat sources, and sunlight.
  • Outdoor Storage: If indoor space is unavailable, I-SACs may be stored outdoors, provided they are kept off the ground on pallets and fully covered with a UV-resistant covering to prevent exposure to sunlight, rain, and debris. Proper storage conditions must be maintained until installation to ensure material integrity and performance.

LIFTING:

Carefully center the filled I-SAC weight directly over the pipeline. Lower it slowly to allow the legs of the bag to separate evenly and saddle the pipeline properly. Ensure the weight is placed in a controlled manner to maintain alignment and prevent shifting during installation.
